I grew up with a beagle for 16 years and one thing I’ve learned is patience. You need patience when it comes to pets and dogs, they will usually do what they want and you just have to be able to let them do their thing. Older dogs especially, my dog was blind and slightly deaf in her older years and she would always end up not making it outside to go to the bathroom and it was really hard to deal with, but you just have to be understanding and know they don’t mean to make you upset. Patience is key, you need to show the dog you care and create a healthy relationship with them. Once you have a bond with a dog it’s hard to leave.
