I've managed to shape my entire life around living with and loving dogs. I've made it my career with my multiple certifications and degree for nearly 10 years now. I have a large fenced yard (4.5ft high), and I will always be outside when the dogs are outside to supervise. If your dog prefers leashed walks instead, I live near the Des Moines river walkway that provides a long stroll around the water. I love teaching tricks, so don't be surprised if your dog goes home with a new skill under his belt! I use only positive techniques to train and maintain behavior. I also have experience administering medication, including insulin. When/if your dog is left alone, I will have plenty of food dispensing toys available to bash boredom or loneliness. My own dogs love having friends over! I have a spayed female (9 years) and 11 mo old male puppy to wear your dog out!

Previously, we did doggy daycare occasionally with Lia over the past couple of years, but this weekend I decided to board him with Lia. She went above and beyond my expectations of care. I received photos, and videos of their adventures. She even used her professional camera to take photos of my dog that sent to me. My 2 year old golden retriever had a blast! He loves going over to her house, and it was nice to board him somewhere he is familiar with. Lia’s dogs, Ellie and Remix, are wonderful dogs, and they absolutely adore my golden boy. Lia truly cares about dogs and goes above and beyond when it comes to her care. She provided so much enrichment for my dog.
Always a great time having Lia watch my golden boy! She has been watching him since he was a little pup from time to time. I always have a good piece of mind that he is wonderful hands! Her dogs, Mixie and Elli, love my boy and it’s the highlight of my dog’s day to see and play with them. They are so well behaved, and communicate so well with my 1 year old Golden. He got to play out in the snow today, and wrestle with Remix. Now, I have a sleepy puppy at home. I can’t thank Lia enough for taking such wonderful care of my golden boy. We can’t wait for her to watch him again!
Lia is my go-to Gal for doggy daycare! She absolutely loves my golden, and so does Mixie and Elli. She always takes a ton of photos of his adventures throughout the day, and keeps me up to date on his shenanigans. I trust Lia extremely with her knowledge of dogs, and her expertise in training her own dogs. She is extremely flexible with drop off and pick up time. Not to mention, I had scheduled the initial doggy daycare two weeks ago, and my plans fell through so I had to cancel. She was so understanding. Lia is the best!
Lia is absolutely fantastic! I’ve had her watch my golden retriever from 3 months, to nearly 1 year old. He has two wonderful dogs, Remix and Ellie. She keeps a watchful eye over their play, and always photographs great moments of play and relaxation. She is my go to gal for Doggie Day Care. She treats your dogs as her own. We can’t wait to see her, Remix, and Ellie again!
