Who Lia IS, is why she is an extraordinary animal caregiver. Lia has unique energy about her, which is calming, restorative, reassuring, joyous, sincere, and creative. She is a grounded and connected to the earth. Her energy and grounded-ness play a huge part in her ability to connect with and care for animals and humans alike. Lia has her own beautiful, tender loving pup named Neesha who Lia has spent an enormous amount of time getting to know on a spiritual and personal level and using what she gathers to best care for her dog - be that massage, reiki healing, special foods, grooming sessions or a nice walk at a park, around a lake or even a hike! When Lia and I walked dogs there had been a dog in our pack who was incredibly difficult to be around because he yapped constantly, was high strung nearly all the time, barked loudly at every dog, and made our car rides to our destinations nearly unbearable because he would cry/wine/bark and irritate every dog in our pack. At first, he seemed inconsolable but then Lia joined our team. With time, patience, devotion and care, Lia opened up her heart to this dog who eventually opened up his. This dog no longer is as anxious and is perfectly fine in the car. He went from being a dog most people didn't enjoy walking to a joyous member of the doggie pack all thanks to Lia. In addition to using her innate intuition as a healing component of her care, Lia is a driven, responsible woman. She knows how to make good decisions in the many situations a dog walker can find themselves in the moment. Lia finds the good in all things and all animals.
