Pet care experience
I have owned dogs my entire life and have experience with many breeds, sizes, and temperaments. For work, I am a vet tech at a clinic for stray and feral cats as well as a tech at a full practice clinic. So, I am around animals constantly. In addition, I volunteer at multiple shelters - and have since the day I turned 18. I also run my own rescue for small animals and reptiles, and have experience caring for dogs, cats, hamsters, mice, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, leopard geckos, bearded dragons, snakes, chameleons, tortoises, turtles, and many birds. I am studying biology and environmental studies in school, with goals of becoming a veterinarian who focuses on rescue and rehabilitation. My dream is to open my own vet practice, rescue, rehab center, and grooming salon. I am a big advocate for humane treatment of animals and animal rights. Lia did a great job with a very large and active dog. She was patient as they both figured each other out. I greatly appreciated the updates through messages and pictures.
Lia is wonderful with our dog. She always keeps us updated on her activities while we are away. She also goes above and beyond, as she dropped in for another visit (free of charge) when we were unable to make it back as scheduled from our vacation. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a pet sitter!!
Lia was wonderful! She checked in on our cat while we were away for three days. During those check ins, she did everything we asked her to. After each visit, she sent very thoughtful recaps with lots of cute photos so we were kept updated. We trust Lia to watch our cat again in the future and will definitely recommend her to others.

Regular walks around the neighborhood will be the staple of my care for your dogs. In addition, trips to dog parks, hikes, and local parks are attempted - depending on vaccinations and behavior/training. At home, we will enjoy some play time, but also some relaxation.
