I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, and horses my whole life. I’ve trained one dog for CGC and am currently owner-training my personal service dog who is a 1.5 year old English lab. I am starting law school in the fall, and I enjoy hiking, reading, and dog training/enrichment in my free time. I love caring for and working with dogs of all breeds and ages, and I am passionate about creating a safe and enriching environment. I’d love to get to know your animals!

My current house includes two roommates and a cat, so I am most interested in caring for your pup in your home. Having trained two puppies from 8 weeks old, I am knowledgeable about puppy proofing spaces and preventing safety hazards. I have house sat for multiple friends throughout the last 10 years, and I know how important it is to have a sitter who is attentive to house needs in addition to providing the best care for your animals.

A typical day
I know how important mental and physical enrichment is for dogs, and I have lots of tools for providing that on a daily basis. I love to take dogs on walks and hikes, provide puzzle toys and training games, and play with whatever toys your pup likes best (fetch, tug, etc). I love walking my dog in the parks near my NE Portland house, as well as hiking in the gorge and Forest Park.

Availability
I’m primarily looking for house sitting and animal care jobs at the moment so my schedule is very open! I will be able to plan my schedule around your pups needs, whether that is staying home with them all day or frequent play and potty breaks. My service dog Arthur would need to come with me for house sitting. He is well socialized with other dogs, cats and small animals. He could be a great playmate for your pup, but also respects when other dogs don’t want to interact.
