Lia has been passionate about animals her entire life. Family life always consisted of dogs, cats and horses, which she has ridden since she was seven. Her childhood passion led her to pursue a bachelor of science in animal science, which she earned from the University of Missouri. Following graduation she worked at several veterinary practices, including small animal and equine specializations. She rescued a 6 wk. old puppy several years ago who is her constant companion, along with her horse that she rides almost daily. Not only would Lia be professionally qualified to work with dogs, but she would be enthusiastic, reliable, honest, conscientious, dedicated and passionate about the work. I can't think of a better suited person for the job. She often takes care of our pet dog and cat when we are on vacations, etc.
