My home for dog boarding: We live in a modern quaint home in College station that has a private fenced in backyard with shade trees for your pups to run wild in! My home has a pet friendly living room for your pet to lounge in; they will have run of the whole house though! We don't mind pets on our furniture in fact we invite them up to be cuddled during movie time (unless they are trained to stay off furniture, in that case we will happily enforce that for you during their stay.) Lastly, your pet will never go long alone in my home. My housemates and I do this together so usually when I am gone they are here. We do have children in the home sometimes but they are all used to the dogs and cats coming in and out as we have done this for years. I genuinely look forward to meeting you and your loved pet and I am excited to love on them while you're away. Please feel free to reach out to me with any further questions. ***I am unable to accommodate any dogs that are aggressive to people, kids, or other animals as I am an active dog boarder and there are always multiple animals in home at any given time. I am also unable to accommodate any animals with contagious health conditions, dogs in heat, or dogs with fleas/ticks. Your pet must be up to date on all shots and be on preventatives to use the Rover platform. When sending your pup with their belongings, please only send them with items you’d be okay with potentially getting ripped or ruined including kennels/beds/blankets/toys. Sometimes pups destroy these items, anything damaged or destroyed during their stay with us by the pups will not be financially reimbursed by the sitter. Owner assumes all financial risks for replacing items their own pup damaged while away. *** I require all pups to come with a kennel for safety reasons. It is best to separate them while asleep or when I am not home as I can’t actively have eyes on them and would never want to risk that liability to your pets safety. Other than these times they will be free roam under my supervision. I only accept Dogs that are fully crate trained and comfortable in them (calm and happy not upset/whining/barking/trying to get out, can sleep in it, and doesn't have accidents in it, so fully kennel trained) 🐶 My housemate and I both work jobs outside of this but our schedules are opposite so someone is almost always available to take care of our fur guests, leaving very minimal time alone. If you request a drop off or pick up time during my work shift my roommate will be the one to meet with you all for the exchange. This can all be discussed via messages when you send your request to me! I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby :) -The holiday rate is $40 per adult animal and $40 per puppy. Daycare rates apply beyond 24 hours (half fee for 2-8 extra hours 8+ hours is another full boarding day fee) . Upcoming dates charged at holiday rates in addition to rover listed dates: Thanksgiving any requests that encompass the 23-26th Christmas break and New Years December 15th-Jan 2nd Any bookings that include any of these dates in addition to days leading up to or after them will be charged a holiday rate for the entire stay. - year around, the puppy rate is $38 per pup. Puppy is defined as any dog under the age of 1, any dog that has destructive behavior or a history of digging/escaping out of the yard, any dog that is still not potty trained or will mark/tinkle inside if alone less than four hours, any dog that requires special attention or care, or any dog that utilizes potty pads or diapers indoor. If your dog meets one or all of these descriptions the price per day will be $38. I schedule drop offs and pick ups by appointment only similar to a doctors office, a hair dresser, the vet etc. Owners are asked to be up to five minutes early to their chosen scheduled drop off time, and not to be late. There is a 5 minute grace period after the appointment time, if drop off or pick up surpasses that 5 minutes owners may have to reschedule at sitters convenience for a later time. We do not offer any evening pick ups most days and never offer after dark pick ups or drop offs. Drop offs/pickups begin at 8am and go from there. Ideal windows for drop off and pick up are between 10am-3pm but some days we can work with other times as well just never earlier than 8am and never after dark. By booking with me each client is acknowledging they have read my entire profile that pertains to their booking and is accepting our terms and conditions. Drop-In Visits: For drop in visits I will come to your home for a maximum of 30 minutes. During this time it is up to you how I spend it! many owners request I give food and water to their pets, take them outside for a short walk or let them into the backyard if one is available, and then play with them the remainder of the time. I am happy to follow this routine or a routine you have set in place for me to follow. -I am able to service dogs, cats, fish, and most caged animals. Please let me know what your needs are. -I am able to bring in mail/newspapers, rotate lights for security, and take out trash to the curb on the designated trash day as well at no additional cost to you as the owner by request. - Please be aware that I do not garuntee a certain time for drops ins unless explicitly discussed, rover will ask you to send me a certain time but this is just to give me an idea of which time of day you are needing. I perform drops in shifts according to the following time schedules: morning (7am-10:30am) afternoon (11am-3pm) I’m only available evenings on Wednesday’s/Sundays (5pm-9:30pm) I will arrive sometime between those time frames during the time of day you requested as I cannot usually promise an exact time when working with live animals. If your pup has special health needs that you’ll need more specific times or times in between please clarify this in our messages so I can better accommodate. Each day is different and my timing depends on where other drop ins are located in. I am confident we can find a way to best meet your pets needs for drop in times ☺️ ***update as of 4/01/21 I am unavailable for drop ins after 3pm except for on Wednesday’s and Sundays. -lastly, if your location is outside of my service range please be aware a travel fee will apply depending on the distance. Cat Care: Many clients on rover book me to love on their cats while they are away! I have provided drop-in visits for hundreds of cats during my time on rover and love every minute of it! Because of my current work schedule I tend to specialize in cat care drop in requests! No matter if your cat is shy or a cuddle lover I am able to care for them while you are away! I am happy to clean litter boxes, play with feathers, and make sure food and water is full. **please note not all cats enjoy attention and definitely don’t enjoy me chasing them around trying to force my love on them. If your cat is receptive to attention I will definitely accommodate however if they will not come out or choose to move away from me I will place myself somewhere in the open where they can choose to come back for love instead of chasing them around and potentially stressing them out. If this occurs I will most likely be responding to messages or reading on my phone the remainder of time once tasks are completed. If a shy kitty will not come out, if a kitty displays territorial signs towards me in their owners absence, or if another human is present in the home during my drop in time (roommate/family members/etc.) please be aware after all sitter tasks are completed and all kitty needs are met I will exit each drop in early as to not cause any extra stress to them while you’re away. Sharing home space with strangers during pet care can be uncomfortable for everyone I’m sure you understand and I’ve found this policy just makes it easier overall. *** Cat care is subject to the same policies and price breakdowns as mentioned above in the boarding and drop in sections. I do not promise a certain time for kitties when requesting once a day service unless explicitly discussed in the messages (not just the initial dates and time request from rover.) if once a day care is requested I will be by each day sometime between 10am-8pm. By requesting my services the owner is agreeing to all the terms listed above in each category that pertains to their booking.
