I sold my business Art Square Cafe (www.art-square.ca) across AGO in Toronto and I am now working from home in Mississauga. My daughter goes to college in Oakville and works for 'Derry Village Animal Clinic' . We worked as volunteers in a horse farm in Georgetown where we looked after 16 horses (most of which were rescued) and kept the barn clean. In our home, we have 2 adopted cats; Robert & Katzenelson. Our Weimaraner Oscar is 7 years old and incredibly friendly and caring. I took CPR/first aid , sea survival, boat safety trainings, and sailed from Toronto to Majorca/Spain, crossed North Atlantic Ocean this summer. I will soon take the 'first aid training for pets'. We have a big, open, warm space at home, and a big garden that is good for any dog to run and play in, classic music always playing in the background. I start my days early, have my coffee and thank my lucky stars that I do not need to work 9-5 anymore. Having said that, I work harder than before at home and I love it. Oscar and any new friend that comes to stay with us hangs out with me whether I sit in my office going over some emails, chill in the garden sunbathing or stay in the living room watching films. So any new addition to our family gets ONE ON ONE treatment; they hang around the kitchen while I'm cooking, come along if I leave the house for an errand, sleep comfortably at night in my bedroom and of course, they are exposed to infinite amount of belly rubs. I don't believe in confiding any furry members of the household to just one enclosed space as they are at their most comfortable tagging along with me wherever I go.

Leyla's doggy care was perfect for Coco. They're extremely nice and very accommodating to my schedule. Coco is 6 months so she's still a lot of work, which they were more than happy to handle. Coco was so exhausted when she came home, so I know she had a lot of fun here! Definitely recommend :)
Drop off our Dog Ben for 1 night. Drop off smooth, no issues. We picked up Ben the following day and he seemed tired, so if Ben's tired it was a good visit :-)
Our dog had a great stay with Leyla... We were quite nervous, it being our first time, and since our doug was a puppy.... turns out our dog had better vacations than us! Everyone at the house was very accomodating, and helped ease our worries with answers and reassurance. We're very happy!
Leyla is an attentive care giver of dogs, taking care to ensure they are walked, fed, groomed and loved. I would recommend her highly as a pet sitter.

A typical day
In my experience, the time a dog feels most at ease when he/she can run around carefree alongside their owner, without a leash and rolling around in dry leaves (or mud unfortunately). I have a Halton Conservation Parks membership which gives me access to 7 parks. I enjoy walks in general and I love long strolls with dogs even more so taking Oscar along with a guest pooch to a nature walk is a regular activity to be expected in our household. In such parks, playing fetch and roaming free is easier and more fun for all. And if we're not out and about running or walking, our four-legged friends spend time out on the porch sunbathing or inside in the shade chewing on a treat.
