Pet care experience
I'm a 23 year old December 2019 graduate of Purdue University looking to fill her extra time with pups since my apartment won't let me have my own. In addition to being a life-time dog owner, I have ample experience pet sitting (whether that is staying overnight or dropping in from time to time to check in while their owner is gone) and care taking on a wide spectrum. I have a heart that beats to serve others, and caring for animals is one of my favorite ways to do so. To me, pets are family, and I promise to treat yours as if they were my own. Pets are the most pure form of love, and they deserve to be loved back twice as hard, if not more. That is my only goal during my time with your pet: show them the love they most certainly deserve!

Lexi stayed with our dog Hero this past weekend. She is a wonderful dogsitter. She was polite, loved Hero, kept in communication with us when she had questions and we were very comfortable with her staying in our home. Hero gets anxious when we are away, but she really made him comfortable and took great care of him. Do not hesitate to hire Lexi to take care of your pet, we plan to rebook her in the future.
Lexi is a very dependable & trustworthy sitter. She takes the time to not only care for the dogs, but also takes time to play w/ them.

I'll happily watch and play with any breed, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't partial to Dachshunds and hounds!
A typical day
I'll do just about anything your dog loves to do. Are they a high-energy speed racer? Awesome, I'll take them with my on my daily run! Do they like to meet other pups and run free? My favorite places to take pets are Celery Bog and Shamrock Dog Park. Celery bog is a nature preserve that is open to the public with beautiful trails and lots of other puppy/human friends to meet along the way, and Shamrock Dog Park sells temporary park passes for about $10 that I'd happily spend to let your pup roam around in a safely enclosed space with other dogs! If your dog prefers one on one puppy play dates instead, I can always take them to visit my parents' dog in Reynolds, IN as well. I make the drive home often and Indy (my dog) loves friends! What if your pup prefers cuddly nights in? Well, I have a Disney Plus account that I can put to great use for us both, and I promise I give the best belly rubs. And as a bonus, I'm a big fan of baking, so if your dog is a treat lover and you love to spoil them, I can whip up some dog-friendly treats and recipes in no time! Your dog will never be bored or unhappy in my care!
