I am Lexi! I am a practicing naturopathic primary care physician (come see me at keystone Mesa!) and a new mom. My husband, Liam, and I live with our sweet 4 year old service dog, Zeus, and our playful 3 year old rescue, Jax. I have experience caring for dogs as small as miniature dachshunds/chihuahua puppies and as large as Saint Bernards/Great Danes. I have even house sat for a family with a 9 week old puppy while they were away for a full week! Zeus is the most social dog I have ever met and is always knocking on his friends' doors *literally* to come out and play. We have doggy playdates daily, make homemade dog treats, and are always adventuring together. We will treat your dog as if it they were one of our own, we have even been known to take our vacation dogs on day trips to flagstaff with us! Your dog will be given ample affection and tons of attention at our home!

When my elderly dog Bear got stitches a couple days before my business trip, it was a very stressful time to change the plan (from boarding to finding a sitter) in such a short period of time. Lexi was so great - she responded very quickly and she took a great care of my baby Bear while I was gone. She went above and beyond and made sure my other pets’ had enough water in their bowls and gave them treats during her visit. Appreciate your genuine care for my babies Lexi!

Lexi is awesome with my girls. My dogs loved her from the minute she came to meet them. She did everything we asked. Lexi went beyond my expectations, she cleaned up after them as if they were her own.

- socialization status - favorite activities - vaccination status - feeding schedule - potty trained? - crate trained? Please share with me anything else that you feel is important for the well being of you and your pet while they are in my care! I do not have any breed preferences -- I love all breeds :). **I do bring my 11 month old son and my husband with me for all overnight stays in your home. If you prefer not to have them, I am more than willing to book a service as house sitting but go to your home for multiple drop ins within that same day instead of sleeping over.
A typical day
Your dog will be treated like a member of the family! He or she can lay on the couch or on our bed if they are most comfortable with that. If they prefer a crate, we have room for you to bring your crate from home. If it is not easy to transport, we have a medium and extra large sized dog crate that will be available for use if needed. We have endless toys for your dog to enjoy but if they are partial to the toys from home they are more than welcome to bring their own toys and bedding etc! We can't wait to make your dog feel like he/she is on vacation too!

My husband performs most jobs with me. He is available throughout the day. I am available on my 1 hour lunch breaks and in the evenings after work.
