Genuine, adventurous & outdoorsy:)

Pet care experience

I grew up with dogs, so naturally I'm a dog lover. My family bred our boxer Lizzie, but just once, and it was a blast! We kept Champ, pictured in my profile. Now that they have passed, it's sad not visiting home and being greeted by dogs who act like they haven't seen you in years:) I'm sure glad I live in a dog-friendly city; I get to pet dogs quite often! I’ve house/ dog sat multiple times. I once house sat for two dogs who needed different medications, different days of the week. I’ve done countless dog visits for family friends while they were on vacation too. I'm detail oriented and love dogs, so it’s a great mix. If you choose me as your dog sitter or walker, you won't be disappointed!

Lexi is our top choice for dog boarding in Del Rio! She is always very accommodating to our travel schedule and extremely attentive to our dog’s needs.

We could not have asked for a better weekend-sitter for our dog Cooper! Lexi was so great about quick responses and sending lots of video and photo updates throughout the weekend. We never felt worried or uninformed, which was a relief for us since our dog has moderate anxiety-- especially around strangers without my husband and I. Lexi's dog, Nelson, was the perfect companion for Cooper as well! We will definitely be booking with Lexi again in the future.

Lexi was a God-send. After losing two pets this year, my family was extremely nervous leaving our 2-year-old pup, Sadie, during a three day trip out of town. Hoping to find an alternative to kenneling, I found Lexi on Rover. After expressing interest, Lexi promptly arranged a meet-and-greet where we got to meet her and her sweet-as-can-be golden doodle, Nelson. Nelson and Sadie hit it off immediately, quickly becoming best friends. During Sadie’s stay, Lexi provided me with amazing pictures, frequent up-dates, and, most importantly, exceptional peace of mind. She took wonderful care of Sadie, playing with her frequently, allowing her to roam her huge backyard, and letting her sleep with her at night (something Sadie Is accustomed to doing). The care we received was outstanding. I hope to use Lexi again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caretaker. Thank you, Lexi!

Lexi did a great job taking care of our puppy who is a bit afraid of new people and places. She was also flexible when our flight was cancelled and our arrival time delayed. Our pup was happy and well cared for. I would definitely recommend Lexi.

Other than the obvious, I'd ask questions like: What makes them upset? What is their favorite activity? Do they get along with other dogs?

A typical day

I live very close to the Fremont bridge. We could walk to Gas Works along the Burke-Gilman Trail. I can bring my frisbee and tennis balls so we can play. I will even bring my backpack so I can bring some of your favorite dog toys too. In case we have too much fun I'll make sure you have water and snacks. We could even take a short car ride to Ballard and I'll even open up all my windows:) We can enjoy a cup of coffee at the Ballard Coffee Works, then walk to the Ballard Locks, my favorite spot in Seattle. I'm an avid day hiker also. We'll have so much fun together:)
