Pet care experience
I’ve owned dogs since I was 6 years old, and have a lot of experience caring for them. Friends and family have relied on me to watch their pets, and I always make sure to provide the best individualized care I can. I use positive reinforcement to train my dog, so I maintain a calm and happy environment for pets, and always have lots of treats! I adopted a rescue mix this year, and have loved becoming a dog mom. I have always loved all animals, and I would love to care for your fur baby :)

I have one friendly dog and one friendly cat who are good with other animals. I have an unfenced yard, but my dog remains leashed at all times outside, and I am a firm believer that in new environments a leashed dog is the safest dog. I am also comfortable with crating pets if necessary.

A typical day
I love to give dogs a lot of mental and physical exercise. I live across the street from a large park, and love to take my dog there to play, run around, sniff, and just enjoy being a dog. I take my dog on 1-2 walks a day (one in the morning and one in the afternoon). I live in a great neighborhood that is safe and family-friendly which makes walking a breeze. For days that aren’t nice outside, I have a lot of enrichment activities, and toys to keep your dog happy and occupied!

Availability
I’m currently a college student, however my class schedule allows me to be home most mornings and by the early afternoon. I am home every night, and most weekends. I have one dog at home, so fitting pet care into my daily schedule is not new to me and I am able to balance my responsibilities very well.
