Pet care experience
Hello! I am a born and raised Los Angeles resident. My experience with dogs includes volunteering with the "Dawg Squad" dog rescue for 10 years and fostering 50+ dogs through them with my family. Currently, my Mother and I are proud parents to 3 small dogs (all are mixed breeds) and 1 Doberman. Each of our dogs are well socialized and very used to having play-dates and house-guests. I know our pets are an extension of our family, and I treat each dog the same way I would treat my own - lots of kindness and patience, playtime, and snuggles if they are up for it! I strive to make sure that you and your pup feel completely comfortable during the stay, and I strive to accomplish that. I am happy to work within any regimen that your pup is used to; dogs are creatures of habits, after all! Please feel free to reach out and I can't wait to meet you!

We’ve had the best experience. She is amazing with our dogs.. and took the best pictures when she was house sitting for us in the summer and left the house even better than we left it. Lexi has been wonderful every time I have asked her to watch after my babies. You can tell she is comfortable and has experience. My dogs took to her right away and I felt completely safe leaving them in her care. I really appreciated that she would send pictures daily.
Lexi has a special connection with dogs. I have witnessed many dogs take to her instantly. She obviously makes them feel very comfortable early on and they remember her. I would trust her with any of my fur babes.
Lexi did a great job as usual. Made herself available with only 1 day notice. Great communication. Plenty of walks and dog park visits for Finn. Brought a new squeaky toy for Finn! Drove him to another dog park too. He was in good hands.

The entrance to our backyard is secured by a strong, metal gate that allows the dogs to "people/dog-watch" fellow neighbors as they walk past, and the yard is enclosed with stone walls. We have a dog door installed to give them access to both indoor and outdoor whether we are home or not. At night, the dog door is locked for everyone's safety.

Let me know if your dog has any allergies I should be aware of, and if there is anything specific with behavior I should keep an eye out for (e.g.: can get possessive with food/toys, needs to take bathroom breaks frequently, not allowed on furniture, etc.).
A typical day
When I have the luxury of working remotely, the dogs are my perfect coworkers! They keep me company and do a good job at protecting the house from the Mailman and delivery drivers. Our neighborhood is a good size with lots of families and great for walking. The backyard is spacious enough for dogs of all sizes to stretch their legs and have a run!

I work a hybrid schedule, working remotely 2-3 days of the week (Mon-Fri). The days I go in to work, I get home around 6 pm.
