Pet care experience
I am a big 'ol softie when it comes to dogs. When I arrived to watch my friends' Golden for three weeks, he had three tennis balls; when I left, he had seventeen and it was all my "fault." If it makes dogs happy, then it probably makes me happy, so it's a win-win. We all have our lives outside of our dog friends. We go to work or school and spend time with friends, but our dogs don't have that level of freedom. Humans are, to an extent, dogs' entire lives. We dictate when and where they use the restroom, where they go on walks, and what they eat. This is why I love to let dogs explore, play, and sniff as much as they want, because that's not often something they get to do. I'll even play chase with them if there aren't any other dogs to play with! There is almost nothing in life that makes me happier than spending time with dogs (it's true, I have references). I have never worked with dogs in a professional capacity, but my family has had dogs for all of my life. I always helped take care of them while I was growing up: feeding/watering, grooming, training, and playing with them. I’m also happy to say that I’ve just adopted a Boxer-Lab mix named Gus from the ASPCA! He’s one of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever met and absolutely loves meeting new friends. I always try to greet dogs with treats in hand, and I make sure to watch their body language closely so that I don't violate their boundaries. I don't have any breed preferences, but I would like to know the dog's activity level, trained commands, special/medical needs, any behavioral issues, and bathroom and feeding schedule. A bonus is knowing their favorite toys and games to play so that I can be sure we have fun. I like to get as much information before a stay as possible, so I can adequately prepare to have an awesome time with your pup(s)! My number one priority is to make sure that both owners and pups are taken care of and feel comfortable during a stay. I am very punctual and proactive with my communication. I’ll respond to questions right away and send text updates throughout a stay. I'll send you really cute photos of your pup as we’re out on adventures (provided that it's possible to take them!). Dogs (and their humans) can be assured that they will have a fun and safe time hanging out with me because spending time with dogs is my favorite activity! Hello, Overall pretty good experience. Sapic seemed happy & in good condition up returning from a quick weekend trip. Levi shared photos each morning to provide update on Sapic. Levi was prompt & very to the point. Will definitely reach out to Levi again for future sitting!
Levi works with my sometimes unpredictable work schedule, which is immensely helpful and refreshing. I appreciate him being available on short notice, and it gives me piece of mind to know that my girl, Maya, is in good hands!
It was such a relief to have Levi check on our cat Katsu while we were away for the holidays! He was very reliable and always sent great photos during check ins. I highly recommend him!

What does your pup try to avoid? What’s the best way to spoil your pup?
A typical day
In my free time, I love hiking, camping, playing basketball, longboarding, and spending time with dogs. I would love to be able to go out hiking and camping more, but I can only do that once or twice a month. I am definitely open to taking dogs hiking and camping with your permission, and I always enjoy going for runs with a canine co-pilot accompanying me as well. I try to make my dog walks at least 30 minutes, and I vary the route so dogs can experience different things. I usually like to let the dogs have a some autonomy and let them pick directions. We will definitely go to the park, weather permitting, and either hang out in the dog park and play around or in the human park and laze around. I love Prospect Park for this! If it's not too far, I love to take my dog friends there to hang out. There’s also a great dog beach there as well, which is perfect for a quick dip.
