Pet care experience
I've had a big heart for animals my entire life and I'm almost always the guy at a party more interested in the house pets than people. While I don't have any formal training, I have had dogs in my life since I was 9 and as of August 1, 2019 I've become a cat dad.

Lester came to watch my house while I went to Mexico last year. He watched over my German Sheperd, Winston. Winston has become a big baby and expects me to give him leg and paw massages every now and then, but I can't thank Lester enough.

I have a healthy sized backyard which is enough to accommodate a large dog or two comfortably. I have two small house dogs and a cat inside, and while they have never presented an issue with others they all have rooms they can stay in if things get bad. We have potty pads for our older dog, which also lets you know I'm comfortable with an older animal. I work best with a set of instructions and expectations from the pet parents, this way we can discuss any potential confusions before they arise. In any situation you can expect that I will treat your pet with love, generosity, and as much positive affirmation as I can give.

I'm most concerned with how well they deal with other animals. Special needs and unique treatment should definitely be discussed beforehand. On the otherhand: Tug of war or fetch? Walks or runs? Good boy/girl or best boy/girl?
A typical day
If it's a running day for me then it's a running day for the dog. I've returned to the area after a few years gone, so this is actually a great opportunity for me to learn of new special places for both me and the dogs!
