Patient and sensitive to pet needs.

Pet care experience

I have been a house/pet sitter full-time for the past 3 years. In that time I have had dozens of sits, some are a few days and others a few months. I am always delighted by the personalities of each individual toddler, excuse me...pet. Their need for affection, attention, diversion, and peace is unchanging, regardless of breed or age.

I am so very pleased with how well Leslie took care of my fur baby. She was very intuitive to his needs and he returned home very happy. She was wonderful keeping me up to date with daily texts and photos. I was nervous leaving him but now I know I have someone I can trust and who provides excellent care. He had his daily walks and stimulation. So grateful to find someone who I feel very comfortable leaving my dog with. Thank you, Leslie for taking such good care of Teddy!

We loved having Leslie stay and watch our little ones. She kept us informed at all times and sent daily photos of our happy pair. We will definitely use her again

This was our first time leaving Peanut with a dog sitter and we were super nervous. Leslie kept reassuring us that it was ok and that she was going to take good care of Peanut. It all worked out and Peanut was well taken care of. I would definitely recommend Leslie ?

Leslie is a true professional! She stayed in our house with our 3 fur children for 3 nights and did an outstanding job caring for the pets and home. One of our dogs takes a few medications and the other can be nervous around new humans but she handled everything with ease. At our meet and greet she was very attentive and took thorough notes so I had no doubt she would be well-prepared for her stay. During the stay she kept in touch so we knew everything was under control. When we returned home the house was spotless and the pets were happy. I highly recommend Leslie as a pet and/or housesitter!

Magic words are important, the dog's ability for recall, health concerns or specific needs and if the pet is socialized. Also any fears or anxieties of both the pet and the owner.

A typical day

I follow the pet owners' request of do's and don'ts for walks. If permissible, I enjoy taking dogs to different places for walks or runs for variety. Car rides, dog parks, the lake, and trails, are possible options depending on where the sit is and the approval of the pet parent.
