Animal lover with vet experience!

Pet care experience

My name is Leslie and I am a lifetime resident of Union County. I have been working as a professional pet sitter for the last 10 years. My love for animals started when I was a child with owning my own dogs and cats as well as reptiles! I'm probably the only girl you'll meet that's not afraid of a snake. I worked at a veterinarians' office in college so I have experience with dogs and cats of all personalities and I have experience administering medications - even to those that can be difficult :-) I also have care experience with a wide variety of animals including chickens, goats, horses, donkeys, snakes, chinchillas, guinea pigs and more! Over the last several years I've been heavily involved in dog rescue including fostering, attending adoption events and also helping out on the administrative side to keep the rescue going. I never meet a stranger when it comes to animals and I look forward to meeting your babies! Drop in Visits: please note that I require a two hour window for any drop in visits. This allows for any unforeseen issues and for other visits that may be scheduled at the same time. I offer both 15 minute and 30 minute drop in visits. Boarding Info: Meet and Greets: I am happy to offer in my home meet and greets. Due to volume of requests and availability, we only schedule meet and greets once booking is paid for and confirmed. Full refunds will be given if you change your mind. Our meet and greets take place in our backyard and we do not do dog introductions during the meet and greet - slow and steady intros are best on neutral territory! We do have a strict policy of no aggressive dogs so please be upfront with any aggressive tendencies that your dog has so we can determine if we are the right fit. Safety is of the upmost concern for the animals in our care. Drop off/Pick up: Drop off hours for boarding and day care are 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, with the exception of Saturday and Sunday. We offer pick up on those dates from 8:00-10:00 am and again from 6:00-8:00 pm only. I can occasionally accommodate hours outside of this range, but encourage you to make plans around these times. Also, please be prompt with your pick up and drop off times as we are accommodating other furry friends too. We may have to ask for you to reschedule if late. For dropoffs/pickups, we have everyone pull down our driveway to the garage area and send a message. We will come out and help load/unload. Once you leave, we bring your pup to the backyard area first to sniff and potty. Then we bring them inside to meet our pups and any other furry friends! At your home pick ups and drop offs are available for a fee if you are within 5 miles of our home. I work from home full time so your pup will have constant companionship and plenty of time for indoor and outdoor play as well as potty breaks! Rover pups staying in our home are welcome to play throughout our entire home. We allow pups on our furniture and our bed (unless owner requests us not to!) and lots of playtime inside and out! Our backyard is entirely fenced in with a 6 ft privacy fence with grass, a cement patio, and deck. All breeds, big and small, are welcome in our home. I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. :) I work from home full-time so your pup will have constant companionship and supervision! We offer both daycare services as well as overnight boarding to meet your needs! Please note that for drop in visits, I do require a 2-hour window to accommodate any unforeseen issues and other visits that may be scheduled during the same time. I have a fully fenced yard with two friendly dogs and we provide constant supervision. If we leave the home for any reason, all dogs are separated either in different rooms with baby gates or crated.

Big Al always enjoys his stay with Leslie! She takes amazing care of him and keeps us updated. She was able to help us in a pinch this time with Bug Al while we were in the hospital to have our (human) baby! Cant say enough good things, thank you!!

Information Leslie M. would like to know about your pet

We would like to know as much as possible regarding your pup including habits regarding diet, any medical conditions, play & potty information. Always make sure to let us know if your pup has any type of separation anxiety, health issues, or social tendencies such as being food aggressive or timid around other dogs/people. We require all dogs to be current on their vaccines (rabies, distemper/parvo, and bordetella) and food, medications, treats, or other food items your pet will need while you're away. Please bring their crate if needed!

A typical day

Pups staying with us can go out to play as often as they would like (weather permitting). We have tons of toys to share as well. We always accompany our guests outdoors while they are playing/pottying. Your dog's sleeping arrangement: Anywhere your pup is used to sleeping. Whatever is typical for them in your home we will also do at ours!
