I've been dogsitting and also a dog owner of a senior pup from an animal rescue for 6 years and I always treat the pets that I take care of like they're my own. I am very careful and conscientious about a pet's diet and what they’re comfortable with as well as their surroundings, just in case anything were to happen. I love learning about pups, including their quirks as well as medical history (there is no such thing as too many details). When I am not taking care of your furry friends, I am a Registered Nurse and would like to dedicate some time during my days off from the hospital to check on your pets. When I'm taking care of my pups, I love going outdoors and letting them stretch their legs and paws, allowing them to explore so they can get enough exercise or taking them to the dog parks to socialize (if that’s something you’re comfortable with, of course). With cats, I love mentally stimulating them with playtime and making sure that they've got enough activity on a daily basis, as well as enough food and treats to make sure they're happy campers. :) My pup recently passed, but I do have experience caring for senior dogs that have special needs and medications that need to be administered. Also, if your pup has difficulty walking or a senior that needs a little more time with their walks, I am experienced in how to care for them since my own senior pup needed a little more TLC.
