I have had a variety of pets my entire life and for the past 13 years, my family and I have been fostering and rescuing dogs. I have volunteered at shelters, I have done some pet sitting, worked at a vet and we have a zoo of our own (small dogs, a bearded dragon, a mouse, and a fish). So as you can imagine, I have cared for quite a variety of breeds, ages, needs and personalities! I am comfortable with a wide range of behaviors and needs. I am reliable, patient, and of course, very dedicated to the care and well-being of animals. I know it's not always easy trusting someone to care for your pets, so I will strive to provide you with peace of mind by giving the best care possible for your pets. My husband and I telework, so there is always someone home. Because I work during the day, I am more suitable for drop in visits or walks during the evenings and weekends, or boarding in my home any time. I love to go for walks and hikes or just hang out. We have a large, fenced backyard for supervised potty breaks throughout the day. I am very flexible in terms of your comfort level and your dog's needs for exercise (short/long walks, hikes, etc). Depending on personalities, we have dogs here that your dog can interact with and play with, or we can keep everyone separate! Again, we're very flexible and just want to give your dog a safe, caring environment.
