FurBabies Need Love & Attention
Pet care experience
While living abroad, we would board our neighbors dogs while they traveled. Walked, loved, fed, played and potty-trained them (if needed). They felt loved. I grew up in a home where we always had a dog, so loving/caring for pets is a normal way to live. I work full time away from home and we have a Corgi who has had to adjust with me not working remotely anymore. He has done exceptionally well and I am proud of him. I am off weekends, so more time is spent with dogs. I used to take dogs into our home when I worked remotely and loved having them with me all day. They felt like they were in their own home as they could join me in my home-office and have frequent breaks in our fenced-in backyard. BUT, I have gone back to the office and now would like to take care of your dogs in your own home. When I lived abroad, I took care of friend's dogs in my home and their home. Many years ago in college, I used to take care of children, pets, and house sit for families when they needed to go out of town for conventions or trips. I feel comfortable taking care of of the details while you're away and you can concentrate on FUN knowing your home and pets are in good hands.
Reviews
Leslie was excellent. She provided updates and pictures and Piper was happy when I got home.
My 1st time using Rover and I'm out of state visiting. Leslie immediately made me feel comfortable and her communication response time is impeccable. She came to meet my boy before hand to make sure it was a good fit and I felt at ease leaving him in her care. Highly recommend!
Leslie took great care of Sandy for us! She sent regular updates including pictures and videos, and took her on outings as well. It was very reassuring to know that Sandy was in such good hands while we were away.
She is so nice & a great person with my puppy

When I am at a client's home, I stick to your schedule with feeding, potty breaks, walks and snack-time. Goal is to follow your directions mentioned in the Doggie Paperwork for a smooth and safe stay. All dogs must be crate trained as this is where they will sleep at night and will be if I must leave the house.
Information Leslie J. would like to know about your pet
Important things to know about your dog: • Does your dog give signals to go outside to go potty?  **Behavior or sounds • Have you recently switched food for your dog?  **Please advise how long they have been eating • Your dog MUST be crate trained as that is where your dog will sleep and when I leave the house for errands. • Is your dog up to date with all vaccinations?  **Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella & Parvovirus - Provide documentation • Is your dog on medication for Heartworm, Flea & Tick  **Provide documentation • Does your dog get along with others?  **Our Corgi is cordially welcoming, but doesn't play with others • Is your dog food aggressive? Toy aggressive?  **I feed dogs separately to avoid this and will reserve toy-playing when other dogs are not present • I do not take dogs with separation anxiety.  **If they react to thunder, please bring a thunder shirt and offer other ways I can help your fur-baby. • I do not take rescue dogs (unless the dog is an experienced Rover customer) • If your dog continuously marks, pees, sprays, or poops in our house  **I will inform you on the Rover app to advise you to pick up your dog (end the boarding) or reach out to your Emergency Contact. Then, a diaper will be required for your dog until picked up. To Keep in Mind: • I accept dogs 65 pounds and under • No puppies • Several Breeds will not be accepted due to insurance  **Huskies, Pit-Bulls, German Shepherds, Akita, Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers, Chow Chows
A typical day
We will frequently go outside. We will get snuggle time and lots of petting time. If allowed, we can go to parks to smell new smells. If you're dog is okay going for rides, we like to do that on the weekends. If not, please let me know.

Availability
I work in an office setting now, so I will be away from your home Monday - Friday from 8:30p to 5:30p. I am completely flexible on the weekends. I have Doggie Paperwork that needs to be completed which provides me with instructions on how your dog likes to eat, receive treats, commands, potty schedule, administering medicine, etc. I keep to your food and schedule as closely as possible, so not to disrupt their tummies.
