12 years experience

Pet care experience

I have 12 years of pet care/dog walking experience. I have experience with diabetic dogs, dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and personalities. It's my dream to one day work a rescue for animals that helps the animals as well as the people who work/volunteer there. I want to be able to provide support/help to anyone who needs it with their pets so they can keep everyone happy and healthy. I also have experience training dogs too so if someone is working with a puppy, I can help keep their learning going when their person is away. I am passionate about animals and I want to do what I can to help animals in need. I have experience as a volunteer at a horse rescue as well. I am comfortable around dogs of all sizes.

Leslie is our go-to sitter for our two cats. They are always so much calmer and happier after spending time with her while we’re away. We have total peace of mind leaving them in her hands.

This was the second time we hired Leslie and she has been fantastic. The best pet babysitter we've found thus far and that's kind of a big deal coming from us. We couldn't ask for better.

Leslie was great!! We will definitely hire her again. She was very thorough with the instructions we left and sent us lots of pictures of our babies while we were gone! She took very good care of our four cats! We highly recommend her!

Safety, trust & environment

I enter and exit the home with caution to lessen the risk of anyone getting out. I will follow instructions given to me about how to leave animals when left home alone - if they need to be crated or if they have free range of home, etc. I don't give any people food, I don't leave food or any garbage where animals might get it.

Information Leslie G. would like to know about your pet

No preferences on breeds. I would like to know the personality and temperament of the dog. I like to know how dogs are with others dogs and people, do they like car rides because if they do I can take them for a ride, do they have any separation anxiety so that I watch for any of those anxious behaviors.

A typical day

Fun walks, playing fetch, playing with toys. I will take them around their neighborhood and I can take them to parks depending on how they are with others. I will take cues from the dog or cat I'm staying with to provide what they need - if they're chill and just want to relax then I will relax with them, if they're more active and want to play or run then I will throw a ball, play with toys, get outside with them. I will let the dog or cat take the lead, that way they're comfortable and getting all their needs met while their people are away.
