I have one small (12 lb) rescue, Daisy. Daisy is blind but manages very well. Your pup will always be leashed when out in our yard but can lay around on our sunny deck as they please. Evenings are spent cuddling on the couch:)

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs including food allergies, triggers of any kind or habits we should be aware of. I have bowls, beds, toys, and leashes, but feel free to bring whatever makes your pup most comfortable. *Please make sure your pup is groomed including nails trimmed.
A typical day
One of us is almost always home, usually both of us. We are either painting and playing music or hanging out in the living room. We take frequent trips out to the yard and we spend a lot of time on our deck in the summer.

Pet care experience
Dogs bring us immense joy! We have owned and taken care of dogs our whole lives. My husband and I are retired and home almost all the time so your pup will get all the love and companionship they want. I am a painter with a home studio. My studio has dog beds, bowls and toys everywhere, but your pup is free to rest by the fire or in any one of the spots throughout our home including a large enclosed deck. We have about an acre, mostly enclosed and often frequented by our neighborhood deer so your dog will always be attended and on a leash when we go out. Feel free to request a meet and greet to meet us and check out our digs. We look forward to meeting you and your pup!

Lelie was wonderful with my sweet little Alfie! He is generally a happy little dog, but overly attached to me. So it was nice that he seemed so happy to be at Leslie's beautiful home in Grass Valley. I highly recommend her!

Leslie was amazing to work with AND amazing to our pup. We were traveling for 2+ weeks and I was 100% confident that my dog was in great hands. Leslie kept in contact and sent pics that helped k owing all was well. I’d highly recommended Leslie!
