Hi! I'm Leslie and I was the the mom to a 15 year old Chiweenie named Penny. She has since crossed the rainbow bridge but gave us lots of great memories and experiences that I would love to share with you and your fur babies. I am well versed in senior and special needs dogs and have cared for several who are blind, diabetic, or require oral and injected medication. So don’t worry- your baby will be in good hands! We have a fenced in backyard for frequent potty breaks and love to have the dogs join us on the couch with us for cuddles! No extreme energy dogs please! I always take lots of pictures and videos, and generally send out a summary of our activities to you at the end of each day. Let’s set up a meet and greet so I can meet you and your pups!

Pebbles had sooo much fun with Leslie and her family. Leslie sent photos and videos every day and we could see what a great experience it was for her. They also gave us a bit of joy while being away from our little (spoiled!) baby! We are so thankful to be able to trust Leslie with Pebbles and plan on another stay in the future.
Just picked up my pup from Leslie's and even though he was excited to see me, I could tell he was content with this stay. Leslie is an amazing caretaker. She made sure to keep me updated with texts and photos. I am so happy we found her and she was available to dogsit Henry.
Leslie and the family have been taking great care of our two fur babies for more than two years. We love that she always sent great photos/videos and updates daily. I know Oliver and Sophie would say the best part was the play time and the adventurous outings to the parks. Thank you very much Leslie!
Our dog Votto has stayed with Leslie twice. Both times have been great! She sends pictures and updates daily. Great with communication. Votto has a great time!

Our upstairs area is gated off and their is a fence around the pool that is kept closed. The dogs are allowed on the furniture and we have several ramps in our home to help the smaller dogs get up and down easily. We live directly across the street from a park for walks, within 1 mile of a nature preserve, and have a fenced in backyard for playtime when the weather isn't great. There are also a couple of dog parks nearby that we frequent!

It's important to me that we get to do a Meet and Greet to make sure that we are both the best fit for each other. You'll be able to see where they will be staying and get an idea of what their days will be like. This is also a good time to give me any detailed information or any special items that need to be addressed. I want to make sure you are comfortable with everything! When they come for their stay, please bring a crate/bed/blanket or anything they need for sleeping, food and bowls, a leash, and any special toys and treats. See you soon!
A typical day
We treat your dog like family and include them on pet friendly outings like parades, trips to the lake, and eating out. They’ll have a blast exploring with us!

I'm currently a stay at home mom with 2 real children who are 8 and 6 years old. They get along well with and love all dogs, and are excellent, responsible playmates. But don't worry- they are also in school so your dog will still get lots of love and attention. The kids go to bed early and I would prefer all drop offs and pickups be between 7:30am- 7:30pm when possible.
