Pet care experience
Dogs make people happy and I love to make dogs happy! Dog sitting has been a small side hobby for my friends the past few years and I am looking to expand this in to a part-time job as I finish my undergraduate degree as a non-traditional student at UNCW. Currently, I am a Puppy Caregiver for a local non-profit. My experience extends to working with neonates, pregnant and nursing mother dogs, puppy socialization & development, administering medications, basic training commands, potty training, kennel training, and much more! I have also been trained in dog CPR and first aid as well! Dog walks and play time are an important part of any dog's daily activities. There are many local parks and hiking trails as well as games to play with dogs to get out their energy of the day and spend some time bonding together! As a professional, I will always carry fresh cool water, a collapsible water bowl, doggie bags, and more with me in my "mom dog bag" when taking your family member out and about if so requested!

Information Leslie D. would like to know about your pet
No breed or age preferences! I have experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages! Having a nice meet-and-greet with the owner at the residence prior to sitting will be a great way to put the dog at ease and relieve any stress before you leave your precious friend in my care!
A typical day
Parks such as Empie, Ogden, Hugh McRae, and Halyburton are great local parks for dog walking to get out some exercise. Carolina Beach State Park and Porter's Neck hiking trails also provide for more outdoorsy experience hikes for all breeds of dogs who want more of an adventure or just for a special walk!
