Pet care experience
I dedicated seven years to volunteering for a local animal shelter providing dog walking, light training and foster services for a variety of adult dogs. I believe that dogs thrive when they receive a mix of stimulation including outdoor adventures, mental stimulation through short training exercises and an abundance of love and companionship. Every dog is a bit different and it's important to pay attention their individuality and understand what motivates them. What motivates me is making dogs happy; love to see those big, slobbery smiles!

Bree is my favorite dog sitter. She is very responsive, timely, and easy going. She has given my dog toys the last couple times she stayed over. My dog loved them! I highly recommend her and always hope she is available when I go out of town.
Bree is great. Calm, confident, on time, responsive, and kind. She always leaves my house very clean. I have hired her several times and appreciate her patience with my dog Stella. Stella is shy and needs eye medication three times a day or her eye gets dry and irritated. She looks great every time Bree takes care of her! I highly recommend Bree.
Bree is a wonderful person and dog sitter. She has taken excellent care of my dog Stella several times. Stella is shy and stand off-ish with a dry eye condition that needs a lot of attention. Stella’s eye looked better with Bree than it does with me! She also bought her a new toy which she loves. I am very thankful to have Bree help me and highly recommend her!
Bree is great with my shy dog Stella. This is the second time she has stayed with her and I feel very comfortable having her in my home. Stella did too! Bree arrived before I left to show Stella it was ok. I really appreciated that. Stella needs eye drops and ointment three times a day and Bree took good care of her. Her eye looked great when i returned and she was happy. I highly recommend Bree!

I provide services for dogs in their own homes where they are the most confident and comfortable. I will occasionally provide week-end boarding for dog social dogs only at my loft in Midtown. However, I am primarily interested in dogsitting for dogs at their own homes. I have no children or other commitments - I will be devoted to your dog while you are away.
Information Leslie (Bree) T. would like to know about your pet
It is always good to know if the dog is dog social (or not) and if the dog has any kind of prey drive (i.e. squirrels). Any and all information the owner has on the dog's physical health including any medical issues is important. I do not have any breed preferences.
A typical day
I begin every day with a 20-30 minute walk followed by a short play session. Dog sitting evenings begin with a 20-40 minute walk followed by a play and mental stimulation with a short training session. The length of the walks depends on each individual dog's physical condition and energy level. On the weekends, I provide an additional outing such as a trip to the park, the river or hiking a local trail so the dog gets to enjoy some nature time.

Availability
I have a job in public administration full time. However, when I am dog sitting, I begin every day with a 20-30 minute walk (depending on the dog's physical condition and energy level) followed by a short play session. I am available after 4:30 pm in the evenings and start my dog sitting evenings with a long walk as well. On the weekends, I provide an additional outing such as a trip to the park, the river or hiking a local trail.
