Pet care experience

NEW TO ROVER: use this promo code for 20%off on first booking- LESLIB57681 unneutered/unspayed dogs accepted for boarding ONLY if it doesn't clash with another dog boarding at the same time. DEC-MARCH booking suggestions: if possible purchase doggie boots for your pet during these months for protection of their paws during walks. Also, if your dog has short hair perhaps a light jacket or cover, so they're not too cold during walks. My husband(Albert) & I thank you so much for considering us to watch your pet! We work as a team to provide your family and your pet the best care possible. A bit of my personal history, I've had hamsters, fish, birds, dogs, cats, turtles and a loving rabbit. We have rescued, fostered and taken care of different types of pets, but in particular dogs. I know for some of you this is the first time using Rover & also getting to know us, that is why I love to do meet ups prior for all bookings, unless its short notice, which is understandable. If the dog is staying over at our place, you can feel free to come explore the home & yard. Our end goal is for your pet to feel at home when they stay with us & to feel that no one left home when we go to your place. We're extremely cautious to be able to guarantee safety & security for all pets, with that said, I will let you know prior to the booking if there will be another pet at the same time at our home. Although, I'm not fully trained to administer medications, I'm not afraid to give medications or assist in any other accommodation your dog requires. I took a 3hour dog CPR + first aid course that has boosted my knowledge in pet safety. We currently own a 16lbs rescued cat, whom we adore. If service is needed for a cat, we're available and would love to care for them as well. Having experience with our own cat helps to connect & understand cat behavior, specially separation anxiety. Our cat can be very fierce at the vet's office, but at home I've managed for years to clip his claws, bathe, clean his ears, teeth and gums. I have experienced the joy from special service dogs or those with disabilities. I have learned that dogs can add something beautiful to one's life, a part of us that we didn't even know needed to be filled. If you read all of this, we appreciate your time & rest assure we're eager to meet you & your pets. WE HAVE BASE ACCESS.

Leslie dropped in on our two dogs while we were away for a few days. She provided a lot of videos and pictures every visit, and we could definitely tell our dogs loved her! She accommodated us when our schedule changed a few times and we really appreciated it. Would definitely recommend her!!

My pup Oliver had an absolute blast! He had so much fun running around outside all day and received so much love during his stay! He was so exhausted when I picked him up and I will definitely be bringing him back for daycare!

Leslie is an AMAZING sitter!!! I have not used Rover (or a person I did not personally know know) to watch my cat before, and was very apprehensive to use an app when we moved to a new place. Leslie has been so kind, professional, and reliable. I feel very thankful to have her help! My husband and I often have to travel for work on short notice and Leslie has always been available to watch for kitty. I used to worry about or cat, but I feel so reassured by Leslie. We have even considered getting a dog, but have not because of our busy schedules, but since we know Leslie, I would consider getting a dog and having her watch them as well! I cannot recommend Leslie enough. I blessing, especially in such a tiny town with limited resources.

Information Leslie B. would like to know about your pet

We absolutely have no breed preference, any dog is welcomed. We would love to know his/her reaction to children, cats or any other animal, so I can avoid anything that will give him/her anxiety.

A typical day

I will go on walks, anywhere the owner feels their dog will be more comfortable. Wether it be around the block, at a dog park, wherever they're comfortable and happy! On some dogs that the owners are comfortable with, I will take them hiking in the mountains.
