I have two wonderful fur babies. One is purebred and the other is a shelter rescue. I have spent time working with a shelter as a volunteer and have walked many different breeds. Each breed has its own unique personality trait and coupled with a dog's home life and background, each pet has their own unique needs. I don't mind getting dirty and cleaning up messes. Dogs enrich our lives and I can't imagine life without mine. My 11 year old loves animals and wants to be a vet. Our house is an animal house. We don't believe in having dogs outside unless they are playing or going to do their business. We have lots of toys and chew bones are usually a daily activity.
