Pet care experience
I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats in my family and in my later life. We promised my daughter that when we moved to Oregon, we would find a place that allowed pets and found two cats from the same mother who were very close. They both lived long in a house filled with love. Since I retired from a full time job, I've started helping friends and neighbors with their dogs and decided I wanted to start caring for animals on a regular basis.

Lesley did a wonderful job taking care of my dog and home while away for the weekend. She had excellent communication with me before, during, and after the trip. She took great care of the house, garden, and most importantly my dog! I would hire her again to dog sit anytime!
Lesley was such a delight! We left her with our pup for a week and she went above and beyond our entire trip! Daily updates and photos that made us feel completely at ease and like our pup was in the best hands! We will definitely be booking her again! Thank you Lesley!
Lesley is wonderful with animals! Can we say Dr. Dolittle?! Animals gravitate to her kind and gentle nature, but she can be firm when she needs to be. She has taken such good care of my dog Marty, who gets excited whenever he sees her. And Marty is an anxious guy, who doesn’t bond well with just anyone, so that says a lot! I fully trust Lesley to care for Marty, and have absolutely no qualms about leaving him with her for both short and long periods of time.

We don't have other pets, so your (dog or cat) would get undivided attention. The fenced yard and no neighboring dogs closeby will create a peaceful place for your pet. We do have nice walking areas nearby for more excitement and we haven't noticed any unleashed dogs in our neighborhood. If I am caring for your pet in your home, or ours I would gather all of the info about thier routines, what they enjoy and make them as comfortable as possible. I will have plenty of time for lots of petting and play.

A typical day
We can explore Gilham Park nearby or relax in my small fenced yard & play with toys. They will get a lot of attention and love and maybe get to enjoy my husband's flute playing. I also love to take photos of your dog or cat and will send them to clients to put your mind at ease.

Availability
I have a very flexible schedule and will be available most week days for drop in but longer stretches for boarding & house sitting. We have a small fenced yard and can have animals in our townhouse community for overnights. With the right clients, this could easily turn into more than a part-time business for me.
