Hi there! My name is Lesley, and I am a resident in Saint Petersburg, Florida! I am originally from Indianapolis, Indiana. I've had family dogs (mutts and Weimaraners) since I was five, and during undergrad and grad school, I dog sat/house sat quite frequently. I finally took the leap during the pandemic and rescued a racing greyhound named Luna! She makes my life so full, and I love her more than anything. Luna likes being an only child, but is always excited to meet new friends and have sleepovers! She especially loves going on car rides and walks with her canine friends, so we are happy to travel to your neighborhood.

Wow! Lesley was amazing! She was kind professional and yes SHE LOVES DOGS! She gave attention to our dog, love and took him for walks and played with him! Definitely will be using her in the future! Apollo loved her.
Great communication. Right on time for Nala's walk. We're completely comfortable having Nala with Lesley as she seems experienced and capable of handling anything that might come up!
Lesley has lived most of her life with dogs, and has had many experiences being responsible for the family pets. She also did extensive pet sitting for a family in her graduate school years. Through all her experiences with dogs, she has proven to be loving, kind and caring with the dogs, responsible and dependable! She has the hope of having a dog of her own one day, but for now, would love to enjoy a variety of dog experiences!
Lesley has been around dogs all her life, and cares for them deeply. She is kind, thoughtful and would treat your dogs as if they were her own. She has cared for my jack russell mix who doesn't trust other people easily, and she was a pro with him! Lesley is one of Dixon's favorite people now!

I have an extra large crate, multiple dog beds, two chests full of toys, and most importantly a very comfy couch for your pup to enjoy! My yard is not fully fenced so I do not let dogs off leash, but I live in an extremely walkable and dog-friendly neighborhood. I am also not far from Crescent Lake dog park, which Luna and I visit a few times a week, if you would prefer your dog run around.

A typical day
I'm relatively new to the area so I am open to suggestions - I love how dog friendly St. Pete is! I am a big Starbucks fan and always get pup cups for Luna!

Availability
I work from home full time so I am able to easily accommodate your pup's schedule and needs while providing constant care and attention! My greyhound Luna is pretty chill and adapts well to changes in her schedule if necessary.
