Hello, I’m Lesley, a nanny veteran of 20 years turned stay at home mom. I’ve cared for children and bunches of their furry siblings over the years! I have the most experience with larger breeds, specifically hounds and labs, but I love all dogs. We recently lost our sweet hound to old age. Not yet ready to adopted again, but would love the company of some doggie friends! Please note, I’m an award winning ball thrower and hind quarter scratcher. I have a very flexible schedule and can provide transportation if needed. ( I would prefer not to do the driving, but will work with you if you find yourself in a jam) In the summer I can give outside hose baths for large dogs, inside baths all year round for smalls. Brushing is cool with me as well.

Lesley has watched our dog twice now and has taken wonderful care of him. Our dog tends to be nervous around new people and situations, but he warmed up right away to Lesley and was comfortable in her house. I'm so glad we found Lesley to dog sit and she's our #1 choice for dog sitter.

We have a 5 year old little girl. Because of that I can only take dogs that are good with small children. Lily is very good with animals, and we have taught her how to be respectful of their space. I also watch a 2 year old little boy Tuesday - Thursday. He comes from a home with both a cat and dog and is unfazed by their presence. *for the safety of the kids and pups, they are never left alone together. Let me know your pups normal schedule and I’ll try to stick with it. That includes rules you want me to follow. ( I don’t mind pups on the bed or couch. If that’s off limits at home, it can be here as well)
A typical day
We live .5 miles from silverwood Park, it’s a beautiful place for a walk, weather permitting. We love being in our big fenced in back yard as well. Sunny afternoon snuggles and naps please!
