A couple of things to keep in mind when boarding your dog with Les: 1) When we've dropped our dog off at his place, we've brought our own dog food, and even though Les took our food he said that it's not necessary because he's got his own food to feed our dog. Later on, he demanded $15 in cash outside of the Rover.com for food. We gave him $20 when picked up our dog and he didn't even offer to give the change back. 2) Our dog has dropped 7 pounds while boarding from 89 lb to 82 lb when we've picked him up today. Not sure if our dog wasn't eating or what happened, but the fact is that he has lost 7 pounds while boarding there. 3) The rate we've paid was $20 per night and when we've decided to stay longer on our vacation, he has almost doubled the rate to $35 per night and stated that this is his extended stay rate, which was never discussed with us before. Basically, he will use the fact that he has your dog and will charge you anything he wishes because he knows that you don't have a choice but to pay up. 4) When we've picked up our dog, he was trying to give us a different tiny, cheap, and old dog leash, stating that he doesn't know where our original was (we have a good quality and strong dog leash for our German Shephard). Attempted to keep our dog bowl. When we've asked for it, he went inside his house and brought our original dog leash and food bowl as well in less than 15 seconds, which shows that the leash was not lost at all. + $20 cash for dog food - he took the money and closed the door without even trying to talk about our dog's stay. 5) All of the prices on his profile have been changed now, so you never know what to expect from him when it comes to money. Not oriented to build a positive business and seems to be here only for a quick buck. 6) Not even one photo of our dog was sent to us while boarding, even though we've requested it when booked the stay. 7) Attempted to get our home address to come get a dog kennel, which was odd. 8) On a bright side, he has another dog in the house which we believe our dog was happy about while staying there.
