I have taken care of a variety of puppies and adult dogs since I was a teenager in high school. This includes: taking care of my neighbor's dog while they were away on a trip, my sibling's puppies while she was away at work, and various other friends continue to entrust me to care for their dogs whenever the occasion arises. I currently take care of a Corgi and a Black Labrador/Rottweiler mix. They are both senior citizens that require plenty of love and attention. Recently, I began taking my friend's energetic Coonhound out for long walks on days their normal dog walker cannot make it. I currently work full-time during the evenings and I am currently enrolled in college part-time. With the aid of my Post 9/11 GI Bill from my time in the Marine Corps, I plan to transition to full-time student. I will soon have plenty of time to be able to walk any puppies that are left home alone, or require multiple walks. I personally have a fenced yard with plenty of land for a dog to run around and play. I also have plenty of room for a dog to be crated as needed in my home. While in my client's home, I will respectfully abide by the doggy parent's rules of care, whether that means crating the dog at certain points, allowing the dog to roam freely in a fenced yard, or to provide leash walks only. Communication between myself and my client is key, and my goal is to have a happy doggy and client.
