Pet care experience
I have been taking care of animals for more than 22 years. Since I was 9 I have always had pets or taken care of the stray cats in my neighborhood. I have bottle fed kittens and puppies, and given my cats and dogs medication when needed. I have even had a turtle. He was rehomed to a friend of mine when I had to move for work, and I still visit him when I go over. I have experience dealing with cones, and with my dog now 11 years old I am more patient with her as she slows down. I do also have some experience on a pig farm. Would love to house sit for livestock one day, although we'd definitely need a meet and greet beforehand.

In a client's home I would be following whichever guidelines were set out for me. Every animal has their own personality and so I keep that in mind when I meet new pets. I'm there to ease their anxiety of being alone. I always give lots of cuddles and attention (if they are wanted). I work from home so I am able to be on hand during the day. Potty breaks and playtime happen regularly.

I need to know if there are any areas that your animal doesn't like touched. Are they comfortable being picked up? Are they scared of anything? Are there daily medications? Are there medications that are used for flare ups? Any food allergies? Are there any arthritis issues? And any other information you think will help Your pet feel more comfortable around me.
A typical day
A typical day with me includes a walk in the morning, playtime, car rides when I run errands, and an evening walk. I like to use simple commands during the day to give treats as rewards for being a good pup. We will definitely spend part of the day indulging in cuddles, and if they wanna sleep with me they are more than welcome. I do like to go to the Woodward park Dog Park at least once a week, and there are a few different parks around town that I enjoy going to with my own dog.

Availability
I am currently working part time. This means that i work from 9-1 during the week. If I am house sitting overnight I will need to go home at least every other day, for a couple hours, as I have a dog who needs walking and cuddles of her own. If I am unable to drive home, I will need access to wifi and a place to do my copy editing.
