Do you like grassy or sandy walks best? Is this nook behind your ears the sweet spot for me to pet? I also learned some necessary boundaries to set. No, you can't pee there. No, you can't sniff my new partner's crotch. No, you don't belong in my dirty hamper-- what on earth are you doing?? While I don't currently own any furry friends, I live with one who's awesome, the "daughter," if you will, of one of my housemates. I take care of her on occasion when my housemate gets held up at work or goes out of town.
