Hi! I am a part time pet care professional working both independently and through Rover for the past year. Before that, I worked in 3 different local kennels for nearly 4 years. While I loved my job, I found the large-scale, fast-pace nature of kennels to be extremely stressful on the dogs. This was my inspiration to start my own service caring for dogs in a space they will feel more comfortable and get the attention and one-on-one care that a kennel can’t provide. I love dogs of all sizes and breeds, and feel comfortable with all types of personalities. I am always patient, gentle, and happy to provide your dog with endless interaction. Having worked in kennels, I am extremely knowledgeable on how to keep your dog both safe and engaged. During my kennel years I was responsible for looking after up to 30 dogs at one time on my own. This included administering medications, overlooking play time, breaking up dog fights, basic grooming, walking dogs, encouraging good behavior (leash manners, resource gaurding, jumping, etc), and much more. My partner is also available to help out with dog sitting, so if your dog can’t be alone for more than a couple hours, send me a message and we can likely work out a care schedule! My partner is also wonderful with dogs, gentle, caring, and knowledgeable on behavioral practices.
