When it comes to first meeting a dog there are few things I like to know before hand, for example human aggression, dog aggression, cat/other small animal aggression, if they are a jumper, so they pull on the leash, so they have fleas or any kind of medical issue, food/treat aggression, etc. Anything you could possibly think of when it comes to your dog is important to run by my so I know before hand. I do not have any breed preferences, i am comfort able with all ddogs, big and small.

On dog walks I usually go around the neighborhood, it helps familiarize the dog with his/her surroundings. If there is no neighborhood (apartments for example), I will go to the closest park to the home. I love taking dogs to dog parks, if dog friendly of course. Spending quality time rubbing and loving on a dog is also very important because during the day when the owner is gone they might feel a little separation anxiety, trying to ease that is a main concern.
