While away, your animals will play!
Pet care experience
What sets me apart as a pet sitter is the way I care for your pets like they’re my own. I have hands-on experience with animals of all ages and temperaments—from playful puppies just learning the ropes, to senior pets who need a little extra patience and care. I’m comfortable with giving medications, adjusting routines for older pets, and helping with basic puppy training like crate time and leash walking. I take the time to learn each pet’s unique needs and personality, so they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. Whether it’s belly rubs, slow walks, or just quiet company, I’m there to make sure they’re happy and stress-free.

Safety, trust & environment
In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. We live in the country with plenty of fresh air, room to roam, and a fully fenced outdoor space where dogs can play safely and freely. Inside, pets have cozy spots to relax and are never left feeling isolated—whether it’s curling up on the couch or enjoying quiet time away from the action if they prefer. We follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible—mealtimes, potty breaks, walks, medication, and cuddle time are all handled with care and attention. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect your space and your pet’s comfort zone. I make sure their daily routine is kept consistent and stress-free, from feeding and potty breaks to walks and companionship. Whether I’m stopping in for a visit or staying overnight, I keep communication open with photo updates and notes, so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and relaxed—whether they’re in my home or staying in theirs.

Information Lelah H. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for a pet, I like to learn as much as possible to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy in my care. It’s important for me to know things like: • Daily routines – feeding schedule, potty breaks, walking habits, nap times • Behavior and temperament – Are they shy or social? Any triggers or fears? • Medical needs – allergies, medications, past injuries, or anything I should watch for • House rules – Are they allowed on furniture? Crate-trained? Specific commands they know? • Interactions – How do they do with other pets, kids, or new environments? • Emergency contacts – vet info and what to do if something unexpected happens Every pet is unique, so the more I know up front, the better I can tailor care to their needs and make their time with me as smooth and stress-free as possible.
A typical day
When pets stay with us, they get a mix of fun, freedom, and plenty of love! We love to play fetch in our large, fenced yard, go on nature walks around our property, and explore all the sights and smells that come with country living. For pets who enjoy social time, our own friendly dog is a great companion, and our two children are always eager to play, toss toys, or simply give belly rubs and snuggles. For more laid-back pets, we offer plenty of cozy spots to lounge in the sun, calm indoor enrichment like treat puzzles or gentle grooming, and one-on-one attention to help them feel safe and at ease. Whether it’s outdoor adventures, silly playtime, or peaceful bonding, I always tailor activities to fit each pet’s personality, age, and energy level—because every pet deserves a fun and fulfilling experience while you’re away.

Pet care is a natural part of my daily life—living in the country with my family, animals are truly at the heart of our routine. We have a spacious, fenced outdoor area where dogs can safely run, play, and explore. Our own crew includes a friendly dog, three playful cats, a curious bunny, and some happy chickens—so we’re used to all kinds of personalities and care needs. My two children absolutely love giving gentle “lovins” and playtime to our furry (and feathered) guests, and they’re always excited to welcome new animal friends into the mix. Whether it’s making sure a senior dog gets their meds or helping a puppy burn off energy, we approach every day with patience, kindness, and genuine joy for what we do. Caring for animals fits right into our family rhythm—it’s not just part of our schedule, it’s part of who we are.
