A Walk A Day Will Keep the Vet Away
Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs ever since I was a kid. My family always had them growing up. We started with Bailey a Chocolate Lab/Newfoundland that was rescued from the Cleveland APL. Then we rescued Tucker a Golden Retriever/German Shepherd from Bath, OH. Our neighbor bought an extremely young German Shepherd named Tonka that he couldn't handle so we adopted her. Most recently my parents adopted Murphy an Australian Shepherd/Lab mix from the Cleveland APL. I have two fur nephews named Nomad and Hercules and a fur niece named Luna. I love walking our family dogs and after moving out have missed that companionship. Our backyard isn't ideal right now for our own dog so I'd love to walk your furry friend.

Leighann is one of my dog’s favorite people! She is gentle and loving, while also being fun and energetic, all depending on what the dog needs in that moment. She is also very reliable, maintains open communication, and easy to work with. I would highly recommend her as a great canine companion!

I care for pets that I am around by making sure there's fresh water in the area, a leash on them while walking just in case other dogs are around that aren't friendly and knowing when not to walk due to pavement being too hot for their paws.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs while walking. I want both of us as safe as possible. Dog walking gives me exercise and helps tire out your furry friend if you aren't able to. I'd also like to know if they don't interact well with people or other animals so while walking, I can be prepared. If they respond well to treats that helps or need a break/water often etc. The more information the better.
A typical day
I love walking dogs in the Metroparks but going around the neighborhood where they live is ideal so they are familiar with their surroundings. I always loved walking our family dog around my parent's neighborhood and once we were close to home, he'd know exactly what drive was his.

Availability
Currently working full time so able to walk Monday-Friday after 5pm. Saturday and Sunday I can do afternoon/evening. Walking late at night when it's dark out is not ideal for me.
