Pet care experience
Hello! I live in a very dog-friendly apartment/neighborhood near downtown Nashville. I work from home and have loved dogs as long as I can remember. I have 8+ years with all types of dogs— big and small. MY HOME IS THEIR HOME. I do not have any pets or kids of my own, but would love to meet and get to know your special one and give them the attention and love they deserve! It is of my upmost importance to give every pup a fun, activity-filled, and comfortable experience as possible! I'd love to chat with you and learn more about your furry family member. Please don’t hesitate to reach out and let's set up a meet and greet! :) **Boarding exceptions: - Barkers (dogs who excessively bark, as I live in an apartment and want to be respectful of my neighbors) - Separation anxiety (dogs who cannot be left alone from time to time) - Males who mark inside I work from home so I can give them the care and attention they deserve (aka. spoil them because after all it is pupcation! :) I live in a quiet neighborhood that has a dog park 1 block away and a covered/sheltered dog run for when it’s nasty and pouring out!
Reviews
Leigh was fantastic with our two dogs. She is perceptive of and accommodating to their unique personalities and needs, including ophthalmic medication administration. She provided a safe environment and plenty of activity. I would absolutely trust her again.
Our hockey schedule is ever changing. Leigh is extremely accommodating! She takes excellent care of Bentley and we are so grateful!
Leigh is FANTASTIC!
THE BEST!

Information Leigh W. would like to know about your pet
I know how important the care and attention of your beloved family member is to you. Communication is the key to success. During the meet and greet I will ask questions to get to know your pet and your pet care expectations. PRE DAYCARE/BOARDING QUESTIONS: What are your pet's daily routines, diet, and habits? Does your pet have any triggers (ie. dogs, children, people, loud noises...etc.) Will I need to give him/her any medications? What commands do you use? (I want to make sure I use the same commands as you do for consistency) WHAT TO BRING: Recommended items- leash, your pet's favorite toys and snacks, extra clothing (if it is cold out and he/she tends to get cold on walks), food bowl (for longer stays). Optional- My home is their home, so they are more than welcome to sit/sleep anywhere they like (couch/bed)-- unless asked otherwise. However, some dogs (especially high anxiety ones) prefer having their own bed as they find comfort in familiar scents. CRATE POLICY: I do not require crates unless I am boarding more than one dog from different homes at the same time, and especially during longer stays (in case I need to leave the house). Other than that, it is completely up to the owner to bring one or not. No one knows a dog more than their owner. An example of a case where bringing a crate would be a good idea is if your pet has high anxiety-- as some dogs seek their crate for a place of comfort. New to Rover? Ask for my PROMO CODE for $20 off your first booking!
A typical day
Depending on the dog's health/energy level and weather, our walks will vary from short jaunts around the neighborhood to longer walks around our quiet neighborhood and dog parks.
