Pet care experience
Hello! I am Leigh and live with my husband Muz and our two human girls and one fur baby in Brighton. We are a family who believe that a house is not a home unless there is at least one dog living in it! I have had years of experience caring for dogs and am lucky to have met so many awesome furry friends over the years! We have had a bit of a break from boarding as we got our own puppy which we needed to give our full attention to (and I had another baby too!) so my hands were a little full! Now that things have calmed down and our dog has grown into a very well socialised and calm lady it is time to open up our doors again! ABOUT OUR DOG Lexi is a large breed dog (Rhodesian Ridgeback) who is super affectionate and an absolute darling. She is two now (April 2023) and gets along with everyone. The only time she gets a little over excited is around very small dogs. So until this behaviour is completely gone, we aren't accepting very small fluffy dogs. We know how hard it is to hand over a piece of your heart and how reassuring it is to know your little loved one is happy and being well looked after. In our care, your dog will have lots of cuddles and tons of love during those times when they can't be with their number one human! Leigh and her family took amazing care of our dog Freya. We knew we wanted her in a family home environment and that is what she got! Lots of love and cuddles and plenty of walks. Leigh kept us regularly updated with photos and videos which was really reassuring. Freya returned happy and healthy and was cuddling ip to Leigh so had clearly had a lovely time :) thank you so much!!
As always, Leigh and family give Archie a holiday to remember whilst we have our holiday! They're super caring, both reliable and trustworthy and we never have any issues leaving Archie in their care So glad we found these guys and wouldn't go anywhere else
Leigh and Muz were exceptional sitters. Kind and friendly, they both made us feel at ease as soon as we arrived with our dog. Our dog is slightly anxious being a rescue, which in turn makes us slightly anxious about leaving her. All worries we’re put to rest almost instantly. They clearly have lots of experience and know exactly what they are doing. We were kept updated with photos and information throughout our dogs stay. Their lovely home is clean and tidy with a secure garden. Truly could not recommend them more. Thanks so much. We will definitely be back.

We have a large but cosy house on the outskirts of Brighton in Woodingdean. We have a big, secure garden perfect for inquisitive noses and a spot of playing or lazing in the sun. There is also an amazing park (Happy Valley) just down the road where we can go for walks or toy play, as well as long walks up on the downs which is easily accessible from the house.

A typical day
The walks your pup will go on will be a combination of visits to Stanmer Park, leash walking around the neighbourhood as well as exploring the hills of the South Downs, accessible from just down the road. The lovely thing about being in Woodingdean is that we are spoiled for choice!

I work for myself (evening & during my toddlers nap!) from home so am around all day so aside from popping out here and there with my daughters, I will mostly be home so your pooch won't feel lonely during the day, and having the kids means at least one of us is home in the evenings too. I will have plenty of time to focus on your buddy!
