Pet care experience
Your dog will have plenty of fun while you are away! Taking care of your dog would be a treat for me more than anything else! That being said safety is always my #1 priority when caring for my Rover dogs. On walks, I will make sure that your dog is safe from cars and other dogs that may be aggressive. Any signs of illness will be addressed immediately with Rover's emergency team, you and your vet. I also monitor my Rover dogs closely for signs of dehydration in the heat and opt to walk them in the early morning and evening when it's hot.
Reviews
Leigh was great! Very responsive and good with my dog who can be anxious!
Leigh was great in sending photos and updates at all times.
Brewster is an older dog who fell in love with Leigh. I had no worries about him while he was in her care.
I got Oakley back exactly how I left him! Happy and well taken care of. Communication was great and the pics were good. Would 100% recommend Leigh to watch your pet.

I try to keep my rover dogs calm, happy and (when I can) entertained. I know it’s a bit stressful for them to leave home, so I spend as much time as I can with them when they first arrive and throughout their stay with me

Information Leigh M. would like to know about your pet
**Please fill out your dog's profile before you request. Once your stay is booked, you can find my address in the 'Stay Summary' section on Rover.** My calendar is always up to date so please try not to send requests for dates that I am marked unavailable. I don't host multiple clients at once, but if you are one client with multiple dogs I'm happy to have multiple at my place. If you have multiple dogs you will need to make a profile for each dog before you submit a request. This is so that they are covered by rover and for safety reasons. Please include some info about your dog(s) in your request. I would like to know: - does the dog bark when you leave? - have they ever been aggressive? - have they done any damage to your home or any of your things/your sitter’s things? -if your dog is over 50 lb, do they pull hard when on a leash? (I am on the smaller side and won’t be able to control this type of dog). -are they currently house training? (this would require my puppy rate) -do they have accidents inside the home with you or with sitters? -do they mark indoors when not in their home? -are they using puppy pads? Please be on time for your dog’s pick up and drop off. I have a strong preference for an exact time/1hr window over a longer window of time/playing by ear. Thank you! I am allergic to cats so if there is cat dander on your dog's things I ask that you try to remove what you can before your dog's stay.
A typical day
On a weekday I would walk them before work and when I get home, then again before bed. On the weekend, there is a dog park near neighborhood nine that I can take them to if that is ok for that dog!
