I have a fenced yard and a relaxed home. I can occasionally house sit in your home so don’t hesitate to ask me. I will bring my senior blind dog Wilson who gets along with all cats and dogs big and small.

Information Leigh I. would like to know about your pet
I only take one dog or one family's dog pack at a time. I prefer smaller dogs since I’m most experienced with them. I can administer medications as needed. I’ve worked with senior dogs extensively, but also welcome younger dogs (no puppies) and medium dogs assuming we’re a good fit for each other! I won't take aggressive dogs or extremely active dogs. I always want all dogs and guests to be comfortable. At our meet-and-greet we’ll make sure your pup gets along with my mine and go over all the important details to ensure a successful stay: medical needs, exercise, food, schedule, and anything else you want us to know. When your pup comes for her stay, you can bring along favorite toys and we’ll help her get settled to minimize separation anxiety.
A typical day
I’ll be home full time with your fur baby. Our days will be relaxed and fun. We’ll play in the backyard with favorite toys, get lots of snuggles and love. We frequently hike the local Ramona trails and parks. (FYI, I do have a dog stroller if your senior needs assistance.). I’ll send lots of photos so you get to join in on our fun!

You know how dogs have a sixth sense? I feel like I’ve always been able to tune into that wavelength--to speak their language, know what they want, and communicate safety, support, and trust. Dogs warm up to me quickly, and I take joy in being a part of their lives. I know how tough it can be to relax at work or while on vacation if you’re worried about your dogs! After I started using Rover.com for my own two dogs, and realized how amazing it can be to have a trusted sitter, I realized that I want to provide that peace of mind too. I’m excited to put dog-parent’s minds at ease. I live in a house with a 1/2 acre dog-friendly yard where they can run and jump, forage in their own dog garden or just bask in the sun. It’s a perfect canine getaway! Your dogs deserve a vacation - an oasis where they won’t have time to miss you because they’re too busy having fun. We have dog beds of all sizes, a big dog-friendly couch, and the ultimate snuggle zone of my bed! I am an Animal Reiki practitioner - so if your pup has any ailments or just needs a relaxing and energizing reiki session while he's here and you’re interested in my approach, we should talk! Helping animals is my greatest passion. I love to laugh; I have a silly sense of humor and dogs bring out my most playful and fun-loving side. I also love to cook--and make homemade doggy treats! I share my life with my pup, Wilson, he is a blind 14 year old mini schnauzer from Frosted Faces Foundation. You won’t find a more playful and perfect home-away-from-home for your pups!
