I have had dogs as my personal companions over the last 43 years. My dog is my child. I love and care for my dog, just like I love and care for my own children. I would love to help you provide loving care for your furry companions when you might not be able to do so. I am a Registered Nurse who focusses on wellness. Although I am not certified in doggy CPR, I am familiar with the method and am trained to respond quickly and calmly in emergencies. I am a Reiki Master Teacher trained in aromatherapy. As part of the visit, I can perform aromatherapy or reiki for your furry companion if requested. How would you describe your communication style? I am open, honest and friendly while being professional. What is your typical routine for pet care? I am flexible and tailor my routine to fit what the pet needs. It is important to maintain a routine when caring for a pet. What hours during the day are you available? most days 11am-10pm

Leigh Ann has always loved dogs. She has a heart for shelter dogs and has had up to 3 of them at a time. Two of them recently passed away from old age and she would welcome meeting new dog friends. Being a nurse makes her more sensitive to the health of your animal. Your dog will be on a good leash with Leigh Ann.
I have observed Leigh Ann care for many dogs over the last 14 years. She just has a way with animals that I can't explain. She's very loving and kind. As an RN, she has taken care of several medical emergencies calmly and quickly. My golden retriever severed an artery in her front leg. Leigh Ann was able to stop the bleeding, bandage the leg and get my dog to emergency room. She saved my dog's life. I highly recommend Leigh Ann when it comes to caring for dogs. She is professional, reliable and compassionate.
I personally know Leigh Anne Tatnall and from my observations she would make a wonderful dog walker as she loves dogs and they love her. She can't resist a stray or lost dog. If she can't find the owner she will adopt it herself. Give her a try, you won't be sorry.
