Pet care experience
Almost 20 years ago, I met one of my best and kindest friend who is a blind woman with a seeing eye dog. I liked the woman but fell in love with her dog, Brady! Brady was rambunctious and not the best service dog. But through our friendship I started walking Brady once a week for "sniff time". I learned all the training commands: sit, stay, heel, down, hop up (if the dog is going too slow for the blind person). I learned to make Brady sit first (Brady "sit") before giving him a milk bone treat. It's important not to give human food to dogs while people are eating because then the dog will always come around while people are eating. it's a bad habit to let the dog lick your fingers. If I can handle all those commands I can handle a small non service dog. Brady was medium to large. sometimes Nancy would walk Brady and I would walk her husband's seeing eye dog, in harness.
Reviews
Leiba is a caring person who loves animals. She provides regular dog-walking and dog-sitting for her friends’ seeing eye dogs. She has a very close relationship with those dogs, and enjoys spending time with them. I am sure she would also enjoy caring for yours!

Does the dog have a history of biting? I think I would do best with small and medium dogs because I'm only five feet tall.
A typical day
I live very close to Kinnear Park in Seattle that has an off leash area for dog. I won't take the dog off leash because I would be fearful the dog would run away. I'm fairly close to the dog park in Belltown as well. I've been a super athlete my whole life and have plenty of energy! I swim laps and take Pilates and yoga and ballroom dance.
