My hands-on experience with dogs started when I adopted my own from the SPCA five years ago. Since then, I have volunteered at organizations such as the Animal Coalition of Delaware Country, the SPCA, and the Elmwood Zoo (not dogs but still animal-related). On top of these volunteering experiences, I also have experience dog-sitting through a different sitting website, where I went to my client's home and took care of their dog while they were at work. On multiple occasions, the owner praised me for being sharp-witted and responsible when it came to taking care of his family.
