Pet care experience
I have raised two kittens of my own and know the care and compassion it takes to do so. Along the way, I have really found the joy in watching them grow and learn. I understand that your pet is your family and I would love to be a resource to help you take care of your pet! Prior to moving to SF, I volunteered at the Seattle Humane Society for 5 years and interned as part of the Foster Department for 2 1/2 of those years. I am very comfortable working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, behaviors, and backgrounds. I am also a runner! I run competitively and would be happy to take those more energetic, active, dogs on jogs and runs around the neighborhood. For some dogs, runs can be very beneficial in releasing some of their energy and reducing their stress. I have special experience in: - kitten socialization - running with dogs - administering oral medication - separation anxiety - clicker training - timid socialization If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me!

my cat stayed with leela for a few days, her place looked nice, clean and had large windows with greenery outside, i felt like my cat was safe and comfortable there. leela texted updates / pictures of my cat every day and was very responsive
Leela goes above and beyond in her care of pets - she is both responsible and great at sending updates, and also genuinely shows love for your pet! Leela makes sure that all animals are happy and comfortable while in her care, and they get frequent play time and interaction. I would highly recommend her to watch your pet!
I’ve boarded my cat with Leela a few times with the longest being around 10 days. She is always attentive and responsive. She fed my cat on time, sent many daily photos, cleaned litter regularly, and played with her often. She is a responsible and caring pet sitter, and I’d recommend her to anyone!
Leela did an excellent job! She paid attention to detailed instructions and communicated clearly on the care of our dog, Hopper! She sent photos and provided daily updates! Hopper really liked her and we will use her again!

Whether I am dropping in, taking your pet on a walk, or boarding your cat - I will work with you to keep your pet healthy and happy! I am very respectful and considerate of your wishes when it comes to your animal and will do my best to keep their environment safe and comfortable. Cats that are boarded in my home will be given the utmost safety with no odds and ends that could be swallowed, doors and windows closed so that they cannot accidentally escape, and given a lot of love and attention as we watch tv on the couch. They will get special play time and treats (as fits their diet) to keep them happy and healthy!

For cat owners out there - I can play with wand toys, give gentle pets, and give tuna treats as your cat needs. Whether boarded at my home or I am dropping-in at yours, I can work with many different personalities of pets!
