Pet care experience
I've grown up with animals, but now that I am in DC, I can't have my own pet right now, so I want to take care of your furry family members. I am experienced with both dogs and cats. I have taken care of a variety of dogs: Dobermans, border collies, and schauzers so I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes of dogs. I also love cats. Everytime I've had a dog, I raised it from a puppy, so I am well versed in puppy needs.

As always, Leela was great dropping in on our dog Gable! She always makes sure he gets a bathroom break and more water, and gives him some love, on her visits.

I pay constant attention to pets when I am around them. I make sure they are safe on walks depending on the weather and the streets, and will make sure the home is clean if pet sitting. I like to leave things better than when I found them.

I try to be as accommodating to your pet as possible. I know it can be stressful for them to have a stranger take care of them, so I keep that in mind. I also know how stressful it can be for you to have a stranger take care of your family member. Ahead of time, I would like to know about your dog's activity level, temper, friendliness towards people or other dogs, and any special medical needs. I would also like you to tell me about your dog's quirks and what behavior to expect.
A typical day
I am a very sporty and athletic person, so if you have an active dog, you know they will be well exercised and entertained while with me. I am still relatively new to DC, but have gotten to know the neighborhoods well, so I would like to take your pet with me on walks as I continue to learn the city. I also have a great arm for fetch in case I have access to a fenced in area.

Availability
I currently work FT from 7 to 3:30, but work remotely on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I am free on the weekends. I can work from home at any location, so I can easily be with your pet on those days.
