Hi! My name is Leeann and I’m a home owner and a life-long resident of Watertown. I live by the Charles River and frequently walk the bike path. I am a true animal lover. I currently have one sweet, female Siberian Husky and a clean, smoke-free, child-free home with a fenced-in yard plus one dog-savvy kitty. My kitty is a rescue who came to me de-clawed (I didn’t do it..) so have no fear that he will scratch any pup I watch. I have 3 bedrooms and a finished basement so there’s lots of living space. I also have a large dog crate that is available if one prefers a crate. Having a rescue and previously having to take her to day-care so I could go to work, I understand the challenges that go with it - mentally as well as time restrictive. I’ve also always had to rely on family if I traveled to sit overnight and the burden that creates. I have a background in Healthcare and lost my job 6 months ago when my company closed down my division. I’ve thought long and hard and want to make a leap to work more with animals, and create my own livelihood by working for myself, all while helping fellow neighbors -so that’s why I’m signing up! I will be as accommodating as possible to keep your pet happy. I’m open to board or visit, dog or cat, and provide canine companionship if yours wishes or keep separate from other furry folk. If visiting, happy to bring in packages or mail or do other small things, and if boarding, happy to do a little training (i.e. paw) to pass the time if you want me to! I have 20 years of experience with Siberian huskies, who are notorious escape artists and runners!! So you can feel safe with me and I’m happy to do a meet and greet beforehand. 😊
