Hi! I am a biology graduate student currently on leave from being a park ranger. I have a wealth of experience handling pets and wildlife with care. I treat all animals with compassion as if they are my own. I lam happy to provide care to your loved ones at times that you may need a helping hand. I understand that trusting a new person to provide care to your pet(s) can be scary, but rest assured- I will provide the highest quality of care possible! I have cared for dogs, cats, turtles, fish, and frogs as pets, and I have helped care for and rescue wildlife like owls, deer, ducks, raccoons, etc. There is no pet that I cannot handle, and there is no animal that I will not love!

Leeann was the best dog-sitter we could've asked for. She was very patient with our pup, paid close attention to his needs since he's a baby. Our puppy was given a lot of exercise time and still followed his feeding/walking schedule due to Leeann's care. I would definitely recommend her if you're looking for someone to love your pet and watch over them while you're away

I currently only do house-sitting at clients' homes, not boarding in my home. I start by greeting the animal (letting them sniff me) and talking to them in a low, calm voice. Then I may attempt a pet or give a treat (if allowed) to warm them uo to me before administering care or putting on a leash for walkies.

Please giver me a heads up if your dog has a distinct temperament so that I can properly introduce myself to them. Inform of any allergies, house rules (like keeping off furniture), or anything of note (ex: medical issues, exercise restrictions, anything requiring.a little extra care or attention.)
A typical day
Depending on the needs of your dog, I would choose which activity they might enjoy most. If they are a senior pup, we may have snuggles or play something low impact for them and go on a regular paced walk. For puppies, we will be playing fetch, roughing up chew toys, and everything under the sun to burn that energy! For pooches in between, I will walk them, play with them, and maybe do a little intermittent jogging during the walk if they are up for it! I like to walk at parks that have green-spaces, but if that is not accessible, city-streets are perfectly fine for me and your pup to explore together.

I work full-time, but am open to Drop-In visits after 6pm on weekdays, and am usually available throughout the weekend from 11am-6pm for Drop-Ins as well. For house-sitting, please feel free to inquire availability. :)
