Pet care experience
Hello and thanks for considering me for taking care of your extended family member. I'm happy to host your pet in my home and to give you peace of mind. I've owned dogs my entire life and have I worked as a fitness trainer for dogs. It's a job that I enjoyed and did for 4 years professionally. I work from home so there's always supervision for your pet. We generally go on 4 walks a day, depending on the activity level of your pet.

I don't have any preferences for breeds, as I like dogs in general. It is a must that my new friend be socialized and able to get along well with other dogs, as he/ she may be sharing space with other dogs. I prefer a meet and greet prior to stays so that you can get a sense of my home and your pet can be familiar with where they would be staying. It also gives us a chance to discuss any specifics regarding your pet's needs. I prefer hosting dogs that get along well with others and are not aggressive. Shy dogs are fine, as I am good at making them feel comfortable and secure. I just request that your dog is not aggressive and doesn't exhibit behavioral issues with other dogs. A nice bath prior to sleeping over is STRONGLY recommended as well.
A typical day
There is a dog run a few blocks from my home for exercise and play. I highly recommend that if your pet is used to sleeping in a doggy bed it would be best if you provided it as well. Pet comfort is key and given the choice of a hard floor and cushion, all dogs prefer the latter. I work from home so there's always supervision for your pet.
